What's New 07/02/2010 Latest ticket news I have just applied for tickets for the remaining away games of the season and I believe that for most of them tickets are going to be in short supply. Charlton has been made a loyalty match and i do not expect to get more than about 8 tickets, these will also be distributed on a loyalty basis not because you have a season ticket. I think that tickets for Norwich and Gillingham will also be hard to come by. Southampton usually sell the visitors a few whilst Carlisle and Yeovil should not be a problem (famous last words). See fixtures for further information. I will be aiming to run a large coach to the last home league match of the season. Whilst people will say that they have heard this before, it is almost certainly the last real organised transport for the branch.
After 28 years of running transport to most matches, due to the drop in the number of members coming on the coach and having to dip extensively into the reserves over the past 3 or 4 seasons it will not be possible to run the Branch on that basis any longer. I do intend to run some organised transport this season to about 20 matches, if I can get the tickets. I will try to aim for the newer clubs to the division and possibly some of the old favourites. Everyone who was a member last season should now have received a letter broadly outlining the proposals for the coming season. It is possible that others may also be selected at a later date even if I do not go personally.
